  1. Cook barley according to the package directions.
  2. When finished, slowly stir in the Parmesan, butter, milk, and salt.
  3. Let simmer a minimum of 5 minutes until all flavors are incorporated and liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Garnish with fresh chopped herbs and enjoy!
